If your 180 Cam HD does not have the latest firmware installed (v1.03), it can still be used with an Android device, but, first, requires a firmware upgrade. However, the firmware upgrade must be performed using an iOS device. If you have an iOS device available, follow the instructions in the included Quick Installation guide to set up the 180 Cam HD using the Omna app for iOS¹ and then use the Firmware Upgrade option under the camera’s Settings menu to upgrade the firmware. Once the firmware upgrade has been completed, you can then use the Omna app for Android and log in using your existing Omna account. If you do not have an iOS device available, it is recommended that you purchase an 180 Cam HD that features the Google Play logo on the packaging, as this device will already have the latest firmware installed.
